Ordering: Garlic bulbs are sold by the pound. Samplers and braids are sold by the "each". Scapes are sold by the box. Garlic is typically available for shipment beginning in August or September (scapes ship in June/July). Since there are limited quantities available, we allow you to pre-order. Orders will be shipped in the order they are received, so order early to reserve your garlic!

Payments: Payments are processed at the time of your order. Your credit card or PayPal account will be charged immediately in order to reserve your garlic. All payment information is encrypted via SSL and processed via our payment processor's secure site. You do not need to have a PayPal account in order to place an order. PayPal allows you to checkout as a "guest", which will allow you to pay by credit or debit card, without having to create a PayPal account. Click here for more information.

Shipping: Garlic will not begin shipping until August or September (scapes ship in late June/July). We ship most orders via USPS Priority Mail (larger orders may use UPS or Fedex). Shipping rates (USA) are $10 flat rate, regardless of quantity. Scapes include free shipping. Orders will be shipped in the order they are received. When we ship your order, you will receive an email notification with tracking information.

Canadian seed garlic orders: Canadian buyers of seed garlic must obtain an import permit. We then provide a related phytosanitary certificate. Please email us prior to ordering and we will get you a quote for shipping costs. Please note that the shipping costs will include the cost of the phyto certificate ($75 USD), as well as any other taxes/fees.

Sales Tax: Garlic ships from Montana, which does not have a sales tax, so all orders are shipped tax free.

Refunds: Orders are non-refundable with the following two exceptions:
  1. Since availability is at the mercy of Mother Nature, if we cannot fulfill your order due to a product shortage, we will give you the option of a 100% refund, or you may select a different variety that is still in stock.
  2. Once shipped, we want you to be 100% satisfied with your order. If you are not satisfied, please contact us within 10 days of receipt of your order and we will do our best to make things right. Under most circumstances, unless the return is due to our mistake, shipping charges will not be refunded.
Disclaimer: The garlic varieties we grow do well in our climate in western Montana (zone 4b/5a). Hardneck varieties generally perform well in colder climates, while softneck varieties generally perform better in warmer climates. Unfortunately, since there are so many factors that go into growing a successful crop, we cannot guarantee how our garlic will perform in your climate and under your growing conditions.

      • The email address you provide for order processing, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, in addition to receiving occasional company news, updates, related product or service information, etc.
      • Note: If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.
How do we protect your information? 
    • We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information. 
    • We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to?keep the information confidential.
    • After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.
Do we use cookies? 
    • Yes (Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computers hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information

    • Because we value your privacy we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.
    • As part of the California Online Privacy Protection Act, all users of our site may make any changes to their information at anytime by logging into their 'My Account' page that can be found on our website header.
